Who We Are

The Office of the Constable in Massachusetts is under attack

There are several initiatives filed before the state legislature that threaten our Office and attempt to limit our authority.

Constables statewide have come together to form the Massachusetts’s Constables’ Coalition (MCC). MCC is advocating on your behalf to defend the Office of the Constable in Massachusetts and protect your authority. The MCC is dedicated to representing the interests of all constables throughout Massachusetts. Using the power of our collective voices and advocacy efforts, MCC offers unified opposition to legislation that threatens the Office of the Constable across the state.

Over 8,000 pieces of legislation are filed in Massachusetts each legislative session, several of which will affect constables throughout the Commonwealth.

These legislative filings will significantly impact your authority, operations and the profitability of your Office. Your involvement in this coalition is as important as any other investment. The MCC provides you with the combined resources of our collective members to monitor, advance or oppose the legislative initiatives that could impact your Office. To do so, MCC has partnered with the successful and well-respected firm of Lynch Associates of Boston, MA to advocate on our behalf.

The Massachusetts’s Constables’ Coalition, which is uniquely positioned to represent your interests and protect the Office of the Constable in Massachusetts, will be your trusted resource and advocate.

In addition to our advocacy efforts, MCC provides exclusive opportunities to our members including:

  • Advertising opportunities available on our website, as well as, our newsletter
  • Office listing on our website, which also includes our “find a constable” feature
  • Member Directory listing
  • Receipt of MCC’s communications (newsletter, member alerts and news, events and training programs)

Join the coalition dedicated to advocating on YOUR BEHALF. Join the MCC. We fight for you! .
